The companies and the chain

We work with approximately 1,100 professional veal farmers in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Italy. The relationship with these farmers is rooted in long term associations. We have worked with many families for several generations.

We produce and trade complete and nutritious animal feeds that are largely composed of sustainable raw materials and residual streams, such as residual proteins from the dairy industry and residual wheat.

We make dairy raw materials ourselves and trade in them. From the residual streams generated in the production of butter and cheese, we make raw materials such as whey powder concentrates (WPC) and other whey derivatives. Suitable for food and feed.

We are producers of veal products. We undertake this based on the latest insights into animal welfare, food safety and according to the highest quality standards. As chain coordinator and driver of innovation, we are very aware of our distinctive role.

Making beef products from Dutch dual-purpose dairy cattle fits nicely into our chain. The animal serves, as the name suggests, a dual purpose. First milk, then meat. The latter phase is where we become involved.

We are a processor and supplier of calfskins. These are a much sought-after product in the fashion and shoe industries. Our calves are treated with the utmost care by everyone throughout our chain. From veal farmers and transporters to colleagues in meat processing plants.

Good marketing and promotion is used to put veal products in the spotlight in an informative way, both at home and abroad. It enables us to support our customers in properly marketing this versatile type of meat.
