KLM presents veal on board

The partnership between KLM and VanDrie Group has led to the introduction of veal to the inflight menu. It will feature as starter and main course.

Top chef Pascal Jalhaij was the creator of the two beautiful dishes. The starter is thinly sliced loin of veal, served with mango, tomato and a creamy guacamole. This dish will be served to all Business Class passengers.

One of the three main courses to choose from is a veal pastrami served with a wasabi beurre blanc, herbed creamy rice, sweet-and-sour celery and an endive tartlet.

These are truly delectable compositions. To quote Pascal Jalhaij: Taste is a complex fusion of experience, good ingredients and passion.

The menu includes a succinct summary from the VanDrie Group: The logo stands for ‘Controlled Quality Veal’. Sustainable production, craftsmanship and food safety guarantee.

These key concepts are the guiding principles of the integrated production chain of the VanDrie Group, supervised by the Safety Guard quality programme.
