Veal checked 24/7

The veal products that leave our companies are certified according to the ISO 22000 standard Food safety management systems - requirements for an organization in the food chain. This standard certifies that veal is produced with the greatest possible care. In this way, we give an assurance that we work according to internationally recognized agreements, which compliance is checked by independent bodies. ISO 22000 regulates, among others, that our companies have extensive HACCP plans: Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points.

When processing foods, there are risks that can endanger the safety of the products. Our veal processing companies describe the potential risks in these HACCP plans. Monitoring and control of the potential risks follows automatically. Requirements in the area of Food Defense are also included in ISO 22000. Food Defense is the protection of the production facility against intentional external contamination. We therefore protect our locations well.

Our integrated Safety Guard quality system warrants food safety throughout the entire chain. This starts with the purchase and processing of raw materials that we use for the production of our calf transporters. Nothing is left to chance because as the saying goes: “Trust is good, control is better.” We do this 24/7 throughout our entire chain, which is why we rightly speak of ‘Controlled Quality Veal’.
